The son of Tajik Yoldash, head of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) is reportedly training suicide bombers in Jowzjan Northern Province of Afghanistan, local officials said.

Baz M. Dawar, Darzab district governor in Jowzjan said that son of Tahir Yoldash, Malek Tahiruv and Juma ak are training the children to become suicide bombers and ground fighters in the district.

According to Dawar, the ISIS or Daesh militant group has now paved the ground for the activities of the ‘Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan’ terror organization in Sardara and Mughol-ul Qani areas, enabling them to train suicide bombers.

Obeidullah Nouri, Jowzjan police chief confirms that Tahir Yoldash’s son and Pakistanis are giving children suicide training and indoctrination in the province.

Expressing concern over the presence of IMU militants in the province, local residents in Darzab and Qosh Tapa districts urged the government to conduct large-scale clearance operations against the group, warning that the group will increase influence if the government fails to take actions against it.
