Asian Development Bank pledges $75 million to Afghanistan

The Asian Development Bank has pledged $75 million dollars for Afghanistan’s systematic and scientific type of farming, Afghanistan’s Finance Minister M. Eklil Hakimi said.

The funding agreement was signed between Thomas panella, Country Director of ADB and the Afghan Finance Minister Eklil Hakimi on Wednesday in Kabul, Hakimi wrote on his Facebook account.

The amount will be spent through the Afghan budget on establishing a systematic and scientific type of farming, increasing agricultural products and on improving food security, Hakimi added.
